AWAY FROM THE SPOTLIGHT: GRATITUDE

My father always taught me that, when I was feeling down, I had to write down ten things for which I was grateful. As the holiday season starts and with Thanksgiving just recently behind us, I thought I would share my gratitude list. I recommend this exercise for anyone stressed or depressed over the holidays. It helps to focus on the positive – and there are always positives no matter how bleak things may appear at times. So here goes. I am sincerely grateful for:

Manic Readers: Famous Actor Hides True Identity in Away from the Spotlight by Tamara Carlisle with Giveaway

In Away from the Spotlight, law student, Shannon Sutherland, meets Englishman, Will MacKenzie, at a pub in Santa Monica, California.  Unbeknownst to Shannon, Will is a very famous movie actor.  Will manages to keep this secret from Shannon for quite a while in the story.  In light of our media-obsessed culture, how is that possible?  The combination of a lot of effort on Will’s part and Shannon’s circumstances allow Will to hide this secret and engage in a normal relationship with Shannon for a while.
